Judging Critique – Notts & Derby District Bull Terrier Club, December 2012

At long last I’ve now completed the list of critiques available from 2012 with this latest one, judge Russell Lamonby’s view of the last event of the year, – the Notts & Derby District Championship Show. By my reckoning that makes it 38 critiques available for 2012 from the 48 main Shows that took place.

I must say that while there is always critiques missing (and always will be) I would have hoped there wouldn’t be quite so many short – it seems a higher figure than usual? Previous readers of Bull Terrier Monthly will know that this is an irritation to me, people pay a lot of money and travel a lot of miles to give judges an entry, the very least they should do in return is produce a written critique and make it available.

In fairness it is not always a case of a judge not writing a critique or submitting it to the Dog Press, but more the Dog Press failing to print it. However, more often than not IT IS because a critique was never written in the first place…

But anyway that is something to ponder upon, hopefully once I dig into the critiques of 2013 I find there are a lot fewer that are missing. As for Russell’s judging critique from this particular Show, just follow the steps below and you should have it in no time at all.
