Here’s the latest instalment of the Monthly Show Winners reports, this time the one from March 2012. Obviously I’m still playing catch-up to get up to the present day – that applies to both these reports and the Judging Critiques – so keep an eye out, there’s a lot more to come…
As with all the other downloadable documents, please feel free to host them on your own site or circulate them as you see fit – and of course you can share them via the buttons above and below this post as well.
To get this one just right-click on the link below, select ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ (or browser alternative), and simply save to your desired destination.

Here’s another critique to download, this time that of the Scottish Bull Terrier Club Open Show of October 2011. Judge on the day was Mick Chapman.
Unfortunately there was a very low entry for this event, just ten dogs in total taking part and the critique only features the two main winners. I’ve also added the Class Placings as well so you can see how all the dogs did.
Please feel free to download it by right-clicking on the link below, selecting ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ (or browser equivalent) – and saving it to your desired destination on your own PC. If you could help me spread the word by using the Social Media buttons above and below this post, that would be great – thanks!

As with the Monthly Show Winners report from the previous post, I’ll start including the Judging Critiques from where Bull Terrier Monthly as a magazine left off – and in the case of these critiques it I got up to the end of September 2011.
Therefore I’ll add those I have (or can get) from October 2011 onwards, the first of which is Zena Thorn-Andrews’ Bull Terrier report from the Driffield Championship Show of 2011.
Please feel free to download it by right-clicking on the link below, selecting ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ (or browser equivalent) – and saving it to your desired destination on your own PC. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me spread the word by sharing this document via the Social Media buttons above or below this post.
You can also follow Bull Terrier Monthly in various ways via the Social Media buttons on the right of the page, again this would be a big help.
Many thanks – Paul

As I said in the previous post, I was going to start adding content to the site for download – and that where possible I’d pick up from where the Bull Terrier Monthly issues finished.
The last ‘Monthly Winners’ section that appeared was the crossover December 2011-January 2012 report in BTM Issue 119. Therefore I need to start on this site from February 2012. Obviously it’s not bang up to date – hopefully as time goes by I’ll catch-up – but this site is going to be built up into a Bull Terrier information archive of one-off documents, so I don’t really need to keep to a strict schedule and keep things in order like I did with the magazine.
Having said that, I’ve so many monthly reports and critiques in particular to catch up on, that I need to get them done and made available before I get to any of the newer stuff.
So without any more waffle, here is the Bull Terrier Show Winners report for February 2012 – all you need to do is right-click on the link below and select ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ (or browser equivalent). As will become very apparent once you download it, I’d be more than happy for you to circulate the document to anyone who you feel may be interested in it, you can host it on your own site or Facebook, or just click on some of the Social Media share buttons above or below this post to notify others.

We have lift-off! It’s taken me a bit longer than I had planned – as is usually the case – but Bull Terrier Monthly is now all systems go, and I’m now in a position where I can start adding some content to the site for download … and also offer the complete history of the previous magazine as a new CD-ROM product (See ‘Magazine’ Page).
Although the site looks a bit sparse at the moment it will grow as time goes on, – I’ll start adding PDF documents very soon, but if you take a look at the ‘Advertising’ Page you’ll see that you can also contribute all manner of posts or content as well – in fact I’d really like you to contribute whenever or however suits.
What I’m going to try and do is start this particular web-based guise of Bull Terrier Monthly where the previous printed one finished. What I mean by that mainly relates to the Bull Terrier ‘Show Critiques’ and the ‘Monthly Winners’ section – so I have still got an awful lot to get on with to catch up to the present. That’s great news for you as it means there will be quite a lot of new content to download in a reasonably short space of time – I’m hoping to add something new every few days or so, at least for the time being anyway.
I’ll be using my Facebook and Twitter BTM sites to inform of updates as well, so it might be an idea to ‘Like’ or ‘Follow’ to be kept up to speed, as opposed to checking back here all the time to see if anything new has been added. That’s entirely up to you, whatever works best for you…
It is a bit new and a bit different, but I’m sure you’ll see what I’m trying to explain and achieve once you see it all in action – it will make much more sense. I do tend to have trouble talking sense at times … as many of BTM’s previous readers will no doubt agree!
But for now welcome to the re-birth of Bull Terrier Monthly, please tell all your fellow Bull Terrier fanatics about it and help me build the site up to do justice to this wonderful breed of ours.
Paul Johnstone – Bull Terrier Monthly
It’s been a while since my first post so I thought it was time for an update as to what I’ve been doing…
I’ll start with this particular site. As you can see I’ve added an ‘About Me’ page and a ‘Contact’ page – these don’t really interfere with anything else so I thought it was safe to put them on the site. I do have a couple of other pages ready, but I can’t really add them until the whole site is perfectly ready for action … that is also why I can’t post anything for download either (Show critiques, Monthly winners etc) because they will contain links to pages that aren’t there yet.
One of those pages is going to be where the entire history of Bull Terrier Monthly can be purchased on a CD-ROM (120 PDF Issues). Now I have got it done but I need to make sure that the buying process works OK before I dare go live with it. That might sound very straightforward as it’s only a Paypal button, but it’s not quite as easy as that because the final CD-ROM product is not actually being manufactured and shipped by me. I have a CD Production company doing that, but I have to get my system to notify their system blah, blah, blah…
It’s just major technical stuff (which I’m not good at, hence why it’s taking so long), but that’s where I’m at. Once I iron everything out, order myself a copy of the product to make sure everything is fine and dandy – then we’re ready to roll and I can finalise everything.
Right, as for the other stuff – in addition to this site I’m going to add BTM Facebook, BTM Twitter and BTM Youtube sites as well. If you check the link bar above you’ll see that I have already got these done, at the time of writing there isn’t a great deal on them, they’re just in place ready to go. I’ll add things as and when, but if you want to pop along and ‘Like’ or ‘Follow’ or whatever the hell you do on these things then please be my guest (Can you tell I’m not clued up on Social Media?).
The Facebook page in particular still has a lot of work involved as I’d like to build up a timeline of the magazine history, but they are merely work in progress – this is the main site and this is the one I’m looking to complete as soon as I can.
I think that’s about it for the moment, but I can assure the end – or should that be the start – is in sight now … hopefully!
Paul Johnstone – Bull Terrier Monthly
Bull Terrier Monthly is currently undergoing a transformation, going from a monthly printed and digital magazine to a constantly updated Bull Terrier information site.
Please be patient with me, there’s an awful lot of work involved and I’m doing it all myself – I’m looking to have it all ready within the next month or two.
It will be very, very different to the previous site, and part of the Bull Terrier Monthly range of new websites, – alongside similar Facebook, Twitter and Youtube platforms. The idea is to offer a lot of the existing features of the magazine to a much wider audience in the shape of free downloads, whilst at the same time adding some new features that could not be incorporated into a standard magazine, – instant Bull Terrier news circulation, digital and video Bull Terrier advertising and so on.
As I say, it’s going to take a lot of work to sort it all out – an awful lot – but hopefully it will be worth it in the end!
Many thanks for your patience…
