Bull Terrier Health Update

Hi guys, this is just a quick note to inform of a few changes I’ve made to the site recently, and they are all related to the subject of Bull Terrier health matters.

Firstly I’ve recently received a couple of articles from Terry Heath – one on Heart Disease and the other on LAD – so I felt the best way to use them would simply be to make them into their own web pages. If you look to the top of the page on the Link Bar you’ll find a ‘Bull Terrier Health’ tab – and if you hover over it you’ll see the various pages you can visit from there, including of course the two new ones.

Also the ‘Omerta’ file that is available to download – the one which tells of the Animal Health Trust’s need for Bull Terrier DNA Samples in the fight against kidney disease – has been updated to include an additional page. This new page gives instructions of exactly what you need to do with the AHT Swab Kits, as apparently there has been some confusion amongst some owners.

The file is still in the same place so all the existing links to it in older posts will work fine, but for convenience I’ll add another below – just follow the next steps and you’ll have it in no time…

  1. Right-click on the download link below.
  2. Select ‘Save Target As’ or ‘Save Link As’ from the menu.
  3. Specify where you’d like to download the file to (e.g. Desktop, My Documents etc).
  4. Click on the ‘Save’ button.
  5. Wait for it to arrive.

* Note: These are instructions for desktop computers and laptops only; the procedure may be different for various mobile devices like the Smartphone or iPad.

As with just about every file available to download from this site, you’re more than welcome to circulate it to others – in fact I’d urge you to do it, the more Bull Terrier people who have it the better.
