Bull Terrier Monthly – Where Are We At Now?

It’s been a while since my first post so I thought it was time for an update as to what I’ve been doing…

I’ll start with this particular site. As you can see I’ve added an ‘About Me’ page and a ‘Contact’ page – these don’t really interfere with anything else so I thought it was safe to put them on the site. I do have a couple of other pages ready, but I can’t really add them until the whole site is perfectly ready for action … that is also why I can’t post anything for download either (Show critiques, Monthly winners etc) because they will contain links to pages that aren’t there yet.

One of those pages is going to be where the entire history of Bull Terrier Monthly can be purchased on a CD-ROM (120 PDF Issues). Now I have got it done but I need to make sure that the buying process works OK before I dare go live with it. That might sound very straightforward as it’s only a Paypal button, but it’s not quite as easy as that because the final CD-ROM product is not actually being manufactured and shipped by me. I have a CD Production company doing that, but I have to get my system to notify their system blah, blah, blah…

It’s just major technical stuff (which I’m not good at, hence why it’s taking so long), but that’s where I’m at. Once I iron everything out, order myself a copy of the product to make sure everything is fine and dandy – then we’re ready to roll and I can finalise everything.

Right, as for the other stuff – in addition to this site I’m going to add BTM Facebook, BTM Twitter and BTM Youtube sites as well. If you check the link bar above you’ll see that I have already got these done, at the time of writing there isn’t a great deal on them, they’re just in place ready to go. I’ll add things as and when, but if you want to pop along and ‘Like’ or ‘Follow’ or whatever the hell you do on these things then please be my guest (Can you tell I’m not clued up on Social Media?).

The Facebook page in particular still has a lot of work involved as I’d like to build up a timeline of the magazine history, but they are merely work in progress – this is the main site and this is the one I’m looking to complete as soon as I can.

I think that’s about it for the moment, but I can assure the end – or should that be the start – is in sight now … hopefully!
